TL;DR
This paper calculates the width of the delta resonance at two-loop order in baryon chiral perturbation theory, establishing a correlation between key couplings relevant for pion-nucleon scattering analysis.
Contribution
It provides the first two-loop order calculation of the delta resonance width in baryon chiral perturbation theory, linking pion-nucleon-delta and pion-delta couplings.
Findings
Derived a correlation between pion-nucleon-delta and pion-delta couplings.
Calculated the delta resonance width at two-loop order.
Relevant for pion-nucleon scattering analysis.
Abstract
We calculate the width of the delta resonance at leading two-loop order in baryon chiral perturbation theory. This gives a correlation between the leading pion-nucleon-delta and pion-delta couplings, which is relevant for the analysis of pion-nucleon scattering and other processes.
