TL;DR
This paper presents a quantum mechanical calculation of open-flavor strong decays of light nucleon resonances, using a modified $^3P_0$ model and algebraic models to predict decay amplitudes and compare with experimental data.
Contribution
It introduces a modified $^3P_0$ model combined with algebraic and hypercentral quark models for decay predictions of nucleon resonances.
Findings
Decay amplitudes align with experimental data
Provides insights into baryon spectrum and decay mechanisms
Enhances theoretical modeling of strong decays
Abstract
In this contribution, we discuss the results of a QM calculation of the open-flavor strong decays of **** light nucleon resonances. These are the results of a recent calculation, where we used a modified model for the amplitudes and the U(7) algebraic model and the Hypercentral Quark Model to predict the baryon spectrum. The decay amplitudes are compared with the existing experimental data.
