TL;DR
This paper proves that the stochastic six-vertex model converges to the ASEP in a specific limit, confirming recent predictions and applying to any initial configuration.
Contribution
It rigorously establishes the convergence of the stochastic six-vertex model to ASEP under a particular limit, extending previous heuristic predictions.
Findings
Convergence holds for arbitrary initial data.
Confirms recent theoretical predictions.
Provides a rigorous mathematical proof.
Abstract
In this note we establish the convergence of the stochastic six-vertex model to the one-dimensional asymmetric simple exclusion process, under a certain limit regime recently predicted by Borodin-Corwin-Gorin. This convergence holds for arbitrary initial data.
