Lorentz and CPT Violation in Heavy Quark Physics
M.S. Berger

TL;DR
This paper investigates potential Lorentz and CPT symmetry violations in heavy quark physics, focusing on top quark production and decay processes at the LHC, including new analyses of gluon fusion and single top production.
Contribution
It extends previous studies by analyzing gluon fusion processes and introduces methods for testing CPT symmetry via single top production.
Findings
Extended Lorentz and CPT violation analysis to gluon fusion processes.
Provided new tests for CPT symmetry in single top production.
Results applicable to LHC experiments.
Abstract
Violations of the Lorentz and CPT symmetries can appear as observable effects in the direct production of top quarks and their subsequent decays. Earlier results for the production process for pairs have been extended to include the gluon fusion process which dominates at the LHC. In addition results are obtained for testing CPT symmetry through single top quark production.
