Dualities in ABJM Matrix Model from Closed String Viewpoint
Kazuki Kiyoshige, Sanefumi Moriyama

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel formalism for the ABJM matrix model that shifts the perspective from open to closed string backgrounds, enabling the proof of duality relations within the model.
Contribution
It presents a new closed string viewpoint formalism for the ABJM matrix model, contrasting with traditional open string approaches, and proves duality relations.
Findings
Established duality relations in the ABJM matrix model.
Developed a formalism connecting open and closed string perspectives.
Enhanced understanding of the matrix model's underlying symmetries.
Abstract
We propose a new formalism to study the ABJM matrix model. Contrary to expressing the fractional brane background with the Wilson loops in the open string formalism, we formulate the Wilson loop expectation value from the viewpoint of the closed string background. With this new formalism, we can prove some duality relations in the matrix model.
