TL;DR
This paper measures the CP violation parameter 1 in B meson decays using a model-independent, time-dependent Dalitz plot analysis, providing new insights into CP violation with a large data sample from the Belle experiment.
Contribution
It introduces a model-independent, time-dependent binned Dalitz plot analysis to measure 1 in B decays, improving the precision of CP violation measurements.
Findings
1 measured as 11.7b1 7.8b1 2.1 degrees.
12 measured as 0.43b1 0.27b1 0.08.
12 as 1.06b1 0.33b1 0.21/0.15.
Abstract
We report a measurement of the CP violation parameter obtained in a time-dependent analysis of decays followed by decay. A model-independent measurement is performed using the binned Dalitz plot technique. The measured value is . Treating and as independent parameters, we obtain and . The results are obtained with a full data sample of pairs collected near the resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy collider.
