Holographic Corrections to the Veneziano Amplitude
Adi Armoni, Edwin Ireson

TL;DR
This paper presents a holographic approach to compute meson scattering amplitudes in a QCD-like theory, recovering the Veneziano amplitude and analyzing curvature-induced corrections that reflect QCD's UV behavior.
Contribution
It introduces a holographic method to calculate corrections to the Veneziano amplitude in a curved string background dual to QCD-like theories.
Findings
Recovered the Veneziano amplitude holographically.
Computed perturbative corrections due to background curvature.
Found deviations from linear Regge trajectories consistent with QCD UV properties.
Abstract
We propose a holographic computation of the meson scattering in a curved string background, dual to a QCD-like theory. We recover the Veneziano amplitude and compute a perturbative correction due to the background curvature. The result implies a small deviation from a linear trajectory, which is a requirement of the UV regime of QCD.
