Contribution
It presents novel variational principles and multiple numerical approaches specifically designed for large-scale traffic equilibrium problems.
Findings
New variational principles for traffic equilibrium.
Development of numerical methods for large-scale problems.
Effective solutions for multilevel convex optimization in transport networks.
Abstract
In this Doctoral Dissertation we propose new variational principles for traffic assignment problems. So to find equillibrium we have to solve large-scale convex optimization problem of special (multilevel) type. We propose different numerical approaches for this problem.
