TL;DR
This paper predicts the cross-section for diffractive phi electroproduction using a holographic meson wavefunction within the dipole model, fitting parameters to recent HERA data, and finds good agreement with experimental results.
Contribution
It introduces a holographic meson wavefunction into the dipole model for phi electroproduction, providing a novel approach to theoretical predictions.
Findings
Good agreement with HERA data on phi electroproduction
Effective use of the Color Glass Condensate dipole model
Validation of the holographic wavefunction approach
Abstract
We predict the cross-section for diffractive electroproduction within the dipole model, using a holographic meson wavefunction for the . For the dipole cross-section, we use the Color Glass Condensate dipole model whose parameters are fitted to the latest 2015 combined HERA data on Deep Inelastic Scattering. Choosing a strange quark mass of GeV, we find good agreement with the available data.
