$\Psi(2S)$ and $\Upsilon(3S)$ Suppression in p-Pb 8 TeV Collisions and Mixed Heavy Quark Hybrid Mesons
Leonard S. Kisslinger, Debasish Das

TL;DR
This paper investigates the suppression patterns of excited heavy quarkonium states, specifically $ ext{Ψ}(2S)$ and $ ext{Υ}(3S)$, in proton-lead collisions at 8 TeV, extending previous work on lower energy collisions.
Contribution
It provides new estimates of suppression ratios for $ ext{Ψ}(2S)$ to $J/ ext{Ψ}(1S)$ and $ ext{Υ}(3S)$ to $ ext{Υ}(1S)$ in p-Pb collisions at 8 TeV, based on an extended theoretical framework.
Findings
Predicted suppression ratios for $ ext{Ψ}(2S)$ and $ ext{Υ}(3S)$ states.
Extended previous suppression models to 8 TeV collisions.
Supports the mixed heavy quark hybrid meson hypothesis.
Abstract
This brief report is an extension of a previus publication on to suppression in p-Pb collisions at 5.02 TeV to estimate to and to suppression via p-Pb collisions at 8 TeV as proposed by the LHCb.
