Naila Amir, Shahid Iqbal

TL;DR
This paper develops a generalized method for constructing coherent states in position-dependent effective mass systems using supersymmetric quantum mechanics, with examples illustrating the properties of these states.
Contribution
It introduces a novel formalism based on ladder operators and shape-invariance for creating coherent states in position-dependent mass systems.
Findings
Constructed coherent states for various position-dependent mass systems.
Analyzed properties of the coherent states through specific examples.
Demonstrated the applicability of the formalism to different quantum systems.
Abstract
A generalized scheme for the construction of coherent states in the context of position-dependent effective mass systems has been presented. This formalism is based on the ladder operators and associated algebra of the system which are obtained using the concepts of supersymmetric quantum mechanics and the property of shape-invariance. In order to exemplify the general results and to analyzed the properties of the coherent states, several examples have been considered.
