Contribution
The paper introduces novel exact finite-power beam solutions to Maxwell's equations, providing detailed energy and power characteristics and comparison with Gaussian beams.
Findings
Derived new exact beam solutions with finite power
Calculated energy density flux and total power
Compared effective beam area with Gaussian beams
Abstract
We derived and discussed new exact, monochromatic, finite-power, beam-like solutions of Maxwells equations in vacuum. We derived energy density flux, total power of the solution, and compared its effective beam area with that of the Gaussian beam solution.
