Emilio Elizalde, Andrey N. Makarenko

TL;DR
This paper explores a simplified Born-Infeld-$f(R)$ gravity model that unifies early inflation and late-time acceleration, aligning with Planck data, without involving matter fields.
Contribution
It introduces a novel singular inflation model within Born-Infeld-$f(R)$ gravity that unifies cosmic acceleration phases in a matter-free, conformal framework.
Findings
Model achieves unification of inflation and late-time acceleration.
Results are consistent with latest Planck data.
Simplified conformal approach without matter fields.
Abstract
Accelerating dynamics from Born-Infeld- gravity are studied in a simplified conformal approach without matter. Explicit unification of inflation with late-time acceleration is realized within this singular inflation approach, which is similar to Odintsov-Oikonomou singular inflation. Our model turns out to be consistent with the latest release of Planck data.
