C. Garcia-Martinez, F.R. McMorris, O. Ortega, R.C. Powers

TL;DR
This paper provides simple characterizations of well-known consensus functions like median, mean, and center on the n-cube, along with new characterizations for median and anti-median functions.
Contribution
It introduces elementary general results that simplify the understanding of consensus functions on the n-cube and offers new characterizations for median and anti-median functions.
Findings
Characterizations of median, mean, and center functions on the n-cube
New characterizations for median and anti-median functions
Simplified descriptions of well-known consensus functions
Abstract
An elementary general result is proved that allows for simple characterizations of well-known location/consensus functions (median, mean and center) on the n-cube. In addition, alternate new characterizations are given for the median and anti-median functions on the n-cube.
