TL;DR
This paper explores the properties of continuous homomorphisms from absolute Galois groups into (pro)finite groups, drawing an analogy with the Langlands program to understand their lifting behaviors.
Contribution
It introduces a novel perspective on lifting properties of Galois group homomorphisms, connecting noncommutative Kummer theory with Langlands program analogies.
Findings
Identifies new lifting properties of Galois homomorphisms
Establishes connections between noncommutative Kummer theory and Langlands program
Provides insights into the structure of absolute Galois groups
Abstract
We discuss lifting properties of continuous homomorphisms from absolute Galois groups into (pro)finite groups. An analogy with the Langlands program is pointed out in the beginning of the note.
