John R. Helliwell, Simon W. M. Tanley, Antoine M. M. Schreurs, Loes, M. J. Kroon-Batenburg

TL;DR
This paper investigates the coordination chemistry of cisplatin bound to hen egg white lysozyme His15, providing detailed ligand distances, angles, uncertainties, and effects of split occupancy, extending previous platinum coordination studies.
Contribution
It offers new detailed structural data on cisplatin-lysozyme interactions, including ligand geometries and occupancy effects, expanding prior platinum coordination analyses.
Findings
Ligand distances and angles with uncertainties reported
Split occupancy effects observed in the structure
Extended analysis of platinum coordination geometries
Abstract
Following the interest of L Messori and A Merlino 2016 Coordination Chemistry Reviews in the platinum ions coordination geometries in our PDB entries 4dd4 and 4dd6 we have extended our original analyses.
