TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the existence of gravitationally coupled electroweak monopoles, which can transition into magnetically charged black holes near the Planck scale, offering insights into monopole stars and black hole physics.
Contribution
It introduces a family of solutions showing how electroweak monopoles couple with gravity and evolve into black holes at high energy scales.
Findings
Existence of regular gravitating electroweak monopoles.
Transition to magnetically charged black holes near the Planck scale.
Potential implications for monopole stars and black hole models.
Abstract
We present a family of gravitationally coupled electroweak monopole solutions in Einstein-Weinberg-Salam theory. Our result confirms the existence of globally regular gravitating electroweak monopole which changes to the magnetically charged black hole as the Higgs vacuum value approaches to the Planck scale. Moreover, our solutions could provide a more accurate description of the monopole stars and magnetically charged black holes.
