Ryuichiro Kitano, Masafumi Kurachi

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates the existence of a topological Higgs field configuration in the Standard Model with a Skyrme term, exploring its potential as a dark matter candidate and its cosmological implications.
Contribution
It introduces a novel topological Higgs configuration within the Standard Model, incorporating the Skyrme term, and analyzes its mass bounds and cosmological significance.
Findings
Topological Higgs configuration exists with mass up to 34 TeV.
Potential role as a topological dark matter candidate.
Impacts on cosmological models and dark matter understanding.
Abstract
We show the existence of a nontrivial topological configuration of the Higgs field in the Standard Model with the Skyrme term. It is shown that the current upper bound of the mass of the topological object is about 34 TeV. We discuss the impact of the existence of the topological object on cosmology.
