Spatially open Friedmann--Robertson--Walker Universe fueled with interacting sources
Marina-Aura Dariescu, Ciprian Dariescu

TL;DR
This paper analyzes a negatively curved FRW universe with two interacting fluids, deriving equations of state and showing it can be modeled as a mixture of dust and radiation under specific interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a specific interaction model between two fluids in a $k=-1$ FRW universe and derives the resulting equations of state, revealing a dust-radiation mixture.
Findings
Universe modeled as dust and radiation mixture
Derived equations of state for interacting fluids
Identified specific interaction form leading to dust-radiation mixture
Abstract
In the present paper, we are analyzing the FRW Universe with two interacting ideal fluids. The energy densities and the pressures are used to derive the corresponding Equations of State. For a particular form of the interaction term between the two fluids, it turns out that the Universe is filled with a mixture of dust and radiation.
