Walking from 750 GeV to 950 GeV in the Technipion Zoo
Shinya Matsuzaki, Koichi Yamawaki

TL;DR
This paper predicts a new technipion at around 950 GeV in walking technicolor models, which could be observed at the LHC through specific decay channels, providing evidence for this beyond Standard Model theory.
Contribution
It introduces a new predicted technipion at 950 GeV in walking technicolor, expanding the phenomenological implications of the 750 GeV diphoton excess interpretation.
Findings
Prediction of a technipion at 950 GeV with specific decay modes.
Production mechanisms via vector boson and photon fusion.
Potential for discovery at LHC Run 2 or 3.
Abstract
If the 750 GeV diphoton excess is identified with the color-singlet isosinglet-technipion, (750), in the one-family walking technicolor, as in our previous paper, then there should exist another color-singlet technipion, isotriplet one, , definitely predicted at around 950 GeV independently of the dynamical details. The are produced at the LHC via vector boson and photon fusion processes, predominantly decaying to , and , respectively. Those walking technicolor signals can be explored at the Run 2, or 3, which would further open a way to a plethora of yet other (colored) technipions.
