Measurement of the forward-backward asymmetries in the production of $\Xi$ and $\Omega$ baryons in $p \bar{p}$ collisions
D0 Collaboration

TL;DR
This study measures the forward-backward asymmetries of charged Xi and Omega baryons in proton-antiproton collisions, finding results consistent with zero, which informs understanding of baryon production asymmetries.
Contribution
First measurement of forward-backward asymmetries for charged Xi and Omega baryons in proton-antiproton collisions at Tevatron energies.
Findings
Asymmetries are consistent with zero within uncertainties.
Provides baseline for baryon production asymmetry studies.
Enhances understanding of baryon production mechanisms.
Abstract
We measure the forward-backward asymmetries of charged and baryons produced in collisions recorded by the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron collider at TeV as a function of the baryon rapidity . We find that the asymmetries for charged and baryons are consistent with zero within statistical uncertainties.
