On the Capacity Region of Multiple Access Channel
Xuezhi Yang

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the capacity region of multiple access channels, showing that orthogonal and non-orthogonal multiple access have identical capacity regions when constrained by the same total power.
Contribution
It demonstrates the equivalence of capacity regions for orthogonal and non-orthogonal multiple access under power constraints.
Findings
Orthogonal and non-orthogonal access have the same capacity region.
Capacity region depends on total power constraint.
The result simplifies understanding of multiple access schemes.
Abstract
The capacity region of a multiple access channel is discussed. It was found that orthogonal multiple access and non orthogonal multiple access have the same capacity region under the constraint of same sum power.
