Quartic amplitudes for Minkowski higher spin
Anders K. H. Bengtsson

TL;DR
This paper explores the calculation of quartic interaction amplitudes for higher spin fields in Minkowski space using BCFW recursion, reviewing existing no-go results and discussing potential ways to bypass them.
Contribution
It introduces a method to compute quartic amplitudes for higher spin fields directly from cubic vertices and analyzes how to potentially overcome known no-go theorems.
Findings
Reviewed amplitude-based no-go results in higher spin interactions.
Discussed potential methods to circumvent no-go theorems.
Highlighted the use of BCFW recursion for higher spin quartic amplitudes.
Abstract
The problem of finding general quartic interaction terms between fields of higher helicities on the light-front is discussed from the point of view of calculating the corresponding amplitudes directly from the cubic vertices using BCFW recursion. Amplitude based no-go results that has appeared in the literature are reviewed and discussed and it is pointed out how they may perhaps be circumvented.
