This paper presents a simplified derivation of the Thomson scattering cross-section for light scattered by a moving particle at any collision angle within classical electrodynamics.
Contribution
It provides a straightforward derivation of the scattering formula for arbitrary angles, enhancing understanding of classical light-particle interactions.
Findings
Derived a simple formula for light scattering by moving particles
Applicable to arbitrary collision angles
Clarified classical electrodynamics approach to Thomson scattering
Abstract
