An Upper Bound for the Capacity of Amplitude-Constrained Scalar AWGN Channel
Borazon Rassouli, Bruno Clerckx

TL;DR
This paper refines the upper bound on the capacity of the amplitude-constrained scalar AWGN channel, bringing it closer to the actual capacity, especially at low SNR levels.
Contribution
It provides a tighter upper bound on the channel capacity, improving upon previous bounds for amplitude-constrained scalar AWGN channels.
Findings
Upper bound within 0.002 bits of capacity at low SNR
Improvement over previous bounds by Thangaraj et al.
Enhanced understanding of capacity limits under amplitude constraints
Abstract
This paper slightly improves the upper bound in Thangaraj et al. for the capacity of the amplitude-constrained scalar AWGN channel. This improvement makes the upper bound within 0.002 bits of the capacity for dB.
