Pak Song-Ho, Pak Myong-Suk, Jang Chung-Hyok

TL;DR
This paper introduces an enhanced IKE protocol leveraging ECC and PKI for secure, efficient key exchange and digital signatures, with specific protections against man-in-the-middle attacks suitable for portable devices.
Contribution
It presents a novel IKE protocol design incorporating ECDH, ECsig, and attack prevention measures based on Koblitz curves, improving security and efficiency.
Findings
Enhanced security against man-in-the-middle attacks.
Efficient key exchange suitable for portable devices.
Implementation feasibility of the proposed protocol.
Abstract
This Paper proposes an ECDH key exchange method and an ECsig Digital Signature Authentication method based on group with Koblits curve, man-in-the-middle attack prevention method for SA payload and initiator identification payload to design high intensity IKE that can be implemented in portable devices.
