Konstantin N. Lyashchenko, Oleg Yu. Andreev

TL;DR
This paper presents a QED-based calculation of the differential cross section for dielectronic recombination in two-electron uranium, analyzing photon polarization, Breit interaction, and multipole interference effects.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed QED framework for dielectronic recombination in two-electron uranium, including polarization and interaction effects.
Findings
Photon polarization characteristics are analyzed.
Breit interaction contributions are quantified.
Interference of photon multipoles is studied.
Abstract
Calculation of the differential cross section for the dielectronic recombination with two-electron uranium within the framework of QED is presented. The polarization of the emitted photon is investigated. The contributions of the Breit interaction and the interference of the photon multipoles are studied.
