TL;DR
This paper calculates relativistic corrections to $B_c$-meson pair production in $e^+e^-$ annihilation, showing these effects significantly reduce nonrelativistic predictions at 22 GeV.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed calculation of relativistic effects on $B_c$-meson pair production cross sections in $e^+e^-$ collisions.
Findings
Relativistic effects reduce production cross sections by a factor of three at 22 GeV.
Relativistic expressions for cross sections are derived within perturbative QCD and relativistic quark models.
Numerical results highlight the importance of relativistic corrections in meson production predictions.
Abstract
Relativistic corrections to the pair -meson production in -annihilation are calculated. We investigate a production of pair pseudoscalar, vector and pseudoscalar+vector -mesons in the leading order perturbative quantum chromodynamics and relativistic quark model. Relativistic expressions of the pair production cross sections are obtained. Their numerical evaluation shows that relativistic effects in the production amplitudes and bound state wave functions three times reduce nonrelativistic results at the center-of-mass energy s=22 GeV.
