TL;DR
This paper discusses a new 3D visualization technique for galaxies that challenges traditional classification schemes, suggesting a need for revision of the historic Hubble classification system.
Contribution
It introduces a novel 3D viewing method that provides new insights into galaxy classification, questioning the validity of the long-standing Hubble scheme.
Findings
Many galaxies are misclassified under traditional schemes
3D visualization reveals new galaxy features
Hubble classification scheme needs revision
Abstract
Thanks to a technique that reveals galaxies in 3D, astronomers can now show that many galaxies have been wrongly classified. Davor Krajnovi\'c argues that the classification scheme proposed 85 years ago by Edwin Hubble now needs to be revised.
