TL;DR
This paper comments on a recent publication proposing long-duration time crystals, providing additional insights and critique on the concept and its implications.
Contribution
It offers a critical analysis and clarification of the claims regarding time crystals with durations vastly exceeding the Planck scale.
Findings
Highlights potential issues with the proposed long-duration time crystals
Provides theoretical insights into the feasibility of such time crystals
Clarifies misconceptions about the scale and stability of time crystals
Abstract
In a recent paper in EPJC January 2016, Faizal, Khalil and Das have proposed time crystals with duration several orders of magnitude greater than Planck scale. We comment on this paper and shed further light on this aspect.
