The spin dependent odderon in the diquark model
Lech Szymanowski, Jian Zhou

TL;DR
This paper uses a diquark model to explore the spin dependent odderon, showing that transverse asymmetry in a polarized hadron's color source distribution is key, and linking it to parton orbital angular momentum.
Contribution
It provides a novel diquark model calculation demonstrating the role of transverse asymmetry in the spin dependent odderon and its connection to orbital angular momentum.
Findings
Transverse asymmetry in color source distribution is crucial for the spin dependent odderon.
The spin dependent odderon is closely related to parton orbital angular momentum.
The calculation confirms earlier theoretical predictions.
Abstract
In this short note, we report a di-quark model calculation for the spin dependent odderon and demonstrate that the asymmetrical color source distribution in the transverse plane of a transversely polarized hadron plays an essential role in yielding the spin dependent odderon. This calculation confirms the earlier finding that the spin dependent odderon is closely related to the parton orbital angular momentum.
