S. A. Owerre

TL;DR
This paper investigates the ground state properties of quantum Kagome ice hardcore bosons, using large-S expansion and quantum Monte Carlo, providing insights into their thermodynamics at zero and finite temperatures.
Contribution
It introduces a semi-classical large-S expansion approach to study quantum Kagome ice hardcore bosons and validates results with quantum Monte Carlo simulations.
Findings
Consistent thermodynamic estimates between large-S expansion and Monte Carlo.
Identification of ground state properties of quantum Kagome ice hardcore bosons.
Validation of semi-classical analysis with finite temperature simulations.
Abstract
We study the quantum Kagom\'e ice hardcore bosons, which corresponds to the XY limit of quantum spin ice Hamiltonian. We estimate the values of the zero-temperature thermodynamic quantities using the large- expansion. We show that our semi-classical analysis is consistent with finite temperature quantum Monte Carlo estimates.
