TL;DR
This paper models the $par{p} ightarrow ext{ extLambda}_car{ ext{ extLambda}}_c$ reaction near threshold, highlighting the role of the $Y(4630)$ state in producing a peak at 4.63 GeV, suggesting a method to detect this charmonium-like state.
Contribution
It introduces the $Y(4630)$ meson exchange into the reaction model, providing a novel way to identify this state through the $par{p}$ annihilation process near threshold.
Findings
$Y(4630)$ produces a peak of 10 μb at 4.63 GeV.
$D^0$ and $D^{*0}$ exchanges are minor background.
Reaction can be used to search for $Y(4630)$ in future experiments.
Abstract
We investigate the charmed baryon production reaction in an effective Lagrangian approach. Besides the -channel and mesons exchanges, the -channel meson exchange is taken into account. For the total cross sections, the and mesons provide minor background contributions, while the state gives a clear peak structure with the magnitude of 10 b at center of mass energy 4.63 GeV. Basing on the results, we suggest that the reaction of can be used to search for the charmonium-like state, and our predictions can be tested in future by the facility.
