Madan Singh, Gulsheen Ahuja, Manmohan Gupta

TL;DR
This paper reevaluates texture zero neutrino mass matrices considering recent measurements of the reactor mixing angle, finding that three-zero textures are incompatible with data and deriving constraints on CP phases for two-zero textures.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive analysis of texture zero neutrino mass matrices with updated experimental data, ruling out three-zero textures and constraining phases for two-zero textures.
Findings
All three-zero textures are ruled out.
Constraints on CP phases for two-zero textures.
Implications for neutrino mass models.
Abstract
In the light of refined and large reactor mixing angle , we have revisited the texture three and two zero neutrino mass matrices in the flavor basis. For Majorana neutrinos, it has been explicitly shown that all the texture three zero mass matrices remain ruled out. Further, for both normal and inverted mass ordering, for the texture two zero neutrino mass matrices one finds interesting constraints on the Dirac-like CP violating phase and Majorana phases and .
