Study of branes with variable tension
Rodrigo Aros, Milko Estrada

TL;DR
This paper investigates a brane world model with variable tension, leading to four-dimensional cosmologies that include (A)dS and radiation-dominated universes, providing insights into different cosmological epochs.
Contribution
It introduces a brane model with variable tension that can produce diverse four-dimensional cosmologies, including (A)dS and radiation-dominated universes.
Findings
Brane models with variable tension can generate (A)dS$_{4}$ geometries.
The model describes radiation-dominated cosmological periods.
Matter-dominated phases are also discussed.
Abstract
In this work we study a brane world model with variable tension which gives rise to four dimensional cosmologies. The brane worlds obtained correspond to E\"{o}tv\"{o}s branes whose (internal) geometry can be casted as either a four dimensional (A)dS or a standard radiation period cosmology. The matter dominated period is discussed as well.
