Status and Perspectives of the Search for Eta-Mesic Nuclei
Pawel Moskal, Magdalena Skurzok, Wojciech Krzemien

TL;DR
This paper reviews the current experimental efforts and challenges in detecting eta-mesic nuclei, focusing on light nuclei like helium-3 and helium-4, and discusses future perspectives in this research area.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of experimental searches for eta-mesic nuclei and highlights the potential for discovering bound states in light nuclei.
Findings
Experimental searches have yet to confirm eta-mesic nuclei.
Light nuclei like 3He and 4He are primary candidates for eta-mesic state production.
Future experiments may improve detection sensitivity for eta-mesic states.
Abstract
In this report the search for eta-mesic nuclei is reviewed. The brief description of the experimental studies is presented with a focus on the possible production of the eta-nucleus bound states for light nuclei like 4He and 3He.
