TL;DR
This study maps the phase diagram of the B-B2O3 system under pressures up to 24 GPa, revealing how phase relationships evolve at high pressures using thermodynamic models based on experimental data.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed phase diagram of B-B2O3 at high pressures, utilizing thermodynamic modeling informed by experimental phase equilibrium data.
Findings
Phase diagram of B-B2O3 system extended to 24 GPa
Identification of pressure-induced phase stability changes
Thermodynamic models accurately predict high-pressure phase behavior
Abstract
The evolution of topology of the B-B2O3 phase diagram has been studied at pressures up to 24 GPa using models of phenomenological thermodynamics with interaction parameters derived from experimental data on phase equilibria at high pressures and high temperatures.
