TL;DR
This paper explores the thermodynamics of apparent horizons in $F(R)$ Hořava-Lifshitz gravity, demonstrating that the second law of thermodynamics holds in both equilibrium and non-equilibrium scenarios within this modified gravity framework.
Contribution
It analyzes the validity of thermodynamic laws in $F(R)$ Hořava-Lifshitz gravity, extending understanding of thermodynamics in non-relativistic modified gravity theories.
Findings
Second law of thermodynamics is satisfied in this theory.
Thermodynamics analyzed in both equilibrium and non-equilibrium ensembles.
Provides insights into thermodynamic behavior of modified gravity models.
Abstract
In this paper we discuss the thermodynamics of the apparent horizon in Ho\v{r}ava-Lifshitz gravity in equilibrium and non-equilibrium ensembles. We show that the second law of thermodynamics can be satisfied in this non relativistic theory.
