The decays $\tau \rightarrow (\eta,\eta') K^{-} \nu_{\tau}$ in the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model
M.K. Volkov, A.A. Pivovarov

TL;DR
This paper models the decays of tau leptons into eta, eta', and kaon particles using the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio framework, calculating decay widths and comparing with experimental data.
Contribution
It applies the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model to describe specific tau decay processes, including both vector and scalar channels, with detailed subprocess analysis.
Findings
Results agree with experimental data.
Scalar channels are less significant in decay widths.
Intermediate meson subprocesses dominate the decay mechanisms.
Abstract
The decays are described in the framework of the extended Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. Both full and differential widths of these decays are calculated. The vector and scalar channels are considered. In the vector channels, the subprocesses with intermediate and mesons play the main role. In the scalar channels, the subprocesses with intermediate and mesons are taken into account. Scalar channels play a less important role in calculation of the full width of the decay . The obtained results are in satisfactory agreement with the experimental data.
