TL;DR
This paper presents a high-performance hollow-core anti-resonant fiber with broadband guidance, low attenuation, and minimal bending loss, suitable for advanced optical communication applications.
Contribution
It introduces a nodeless hollow-core anti-resonant fiber with significantly improved broadband guidance and reduced bending loss compared to previous designs.
Findings
Broadband guidance from 1050 nm to >1900 nm
Transmission attenuation of 200 dB/km
Bending loss of 0.25 dB/m at 1550 nm
Abstract
We report a high performance nodeless hollow-core anti-resonant fiber with a broadband guidance from 1050 nm to >1900 nm, a transmission attenuation of 200 dB/km, and a low bending loss of 0.25 dB/m for a 5 cm radius at wavelength of 1550 nm.
