D.Yu.Ivanov, B.Pire, L.Szymanowski, J.Wagner

TL;DR
This paper reviews recent advances in the next-to-leading order theoretical description of heavy meson production and Compton scattering, which are key processes for probing the internal structure of hadrons via GPDs.
Contribution
It provides an updated review of NLO calculations for exclusive heavy meson production and Compton scattering, enhancing the understanding of hadron structure.
Findings
Improved NLO theoretical frameworks for heavy meson production.
Enhanced understanding of GPDs through recent developments.
Potential implications for experimental investigations of hadron structure.
Abstract
Exclusive processes of heavy meson production and spacelike and timelike deeply virtual Compton scattering allow us to investigate the hadron structure in terms of Generalized Parton Distributions (GPDs). We review recent developments in the NLO description of such processes.
