TL;DR
This paper presents a new class of Maxwell-like algebras obtained via a basis change, which are shown to be direct sums of known algebras, facilitating gravity theory constructions.
Contribution
It introduces an alternative closure method for Maxwell-like algebras and connects them to existing algebraic structures through the $S$-expansion framework.
Findings
Algebras are direct sums of AdS and Maxwell algebras.
The new approach simplifies the construction of gravity theories.
The $S$-expansion method is used to systematically derive the algebras.
Abstract
We introduce an alternative way of closing Maxwell like algebras. We show, through a suitable change of basis, that resulting algebras are given by the direct sums of the AdS and the Maxwell algebras already known in the literature. Casting the result into the -expansion method framework ensures the straightaway construction of the gravity theories based on a found enlargement.
