Antony Prakash Monteiro, Manjunath Bhat, K. B. Vijaya Kumar

TL;DR
This paper uses a relativistic quark model to calculate the masses and decay properties of ground state pseudo scalar and vector $car{b}$ mesons, achieving good agreement with experimental data.
Contribution
It provides new mass and decay width calculations for $car{b}$ states using a relativistic quark model with confinement and gluon exchange potentials.
Findings
Calculated masses agree with experimental data.
Decay widths are consistent with other theoretical models.
The model effectively describes $car{b}$ meson properties.
Abstract
The phenomenological relativistic quark model (RQM) has been employed to obtain the masses of ground state pseudo scalar and vector states. In the frame work of RQM a study of M1 radiative decays of has been made. The Hamiltonian used in the investigation has confinement potential and confined one gluon exchange potential (COGEP). An overall agreement is obtained with the experimental masses and decay widths. Calculated values are compared with other theoretical models.
