TL;DR
This paper investigates the internal structure of the $f_0(980)$ meson through $B_{(s)}$ decays, analyzing mixing angles and decay rates within the PQCD framework, supporting a dominant two-quark component with an $sar s$ preference.
Contribution
The study provides new insights into the $f_0(980)$ structure by analyzing decay data and constraining the mixing angle, highlighting the dominance of the $sar s$ component over the $qar q$ component.
Findings
Two possible $f_0(980)-f_0(500)$ mixing angle regions identified.
Branching fractions of $B_s$ decays are insensitive to the mixing angle.
Results support a two-quark dominant model with a significant $sar s$ component.
Abstract
Through analyzing the charmed decays and within the framework of the PQCD factorization approach and comparing with the current data, we find that there are two possible regions for the mixing angle : one is centered at and the other is falls into . The former can overlap mostly with one of allowed angle regions extracted from the decay . The branching fractions of decay modes are less sensitive to the mixing angle compared with those of B decay modes. Especially, for the decay , its branching fraction changes only slightly between when the mixing angle runs from to . All of our results support the picture that the is…
