TL;DR
This paper discusses the relationship between RI-$ ilde{ m S}$MOM and $ar{ m MS}$ schemes for quark chromo-EDM operators and introduces a method to evaluate the neutron EDM using lattice QCD techniques.
Contribution
It presents a new approach to connect different renormalization schemes and demonstrates a preliminary lattice calculation for neutron EDM from quark chromo-EDM.
Findings
Established the connection between RI-$ ilde{ m S}$MOM and $ar{ m MS}$ schemes.
Outlined a method for calculating neutron EDM from quark chromo-EDM.
Provided initial lattice QCD results using clover and HISQ quarks.
Abstract
The connection between a regularization-independent symmetric momentum substraction (RI-MOM) and the scheme for the quark chromo EDM operators is discussed. A method for evaluating the neutron EDM from quark chromoEDM is described. A preliminary study of the signal in the matrix element using clover quarks on a highly improved staggered quark (HISQ) ensemble is shown.
