Bogdan Cichocki, Maria L. Ekiel-Jezewska, Eligiusz Wajnryb

TL;DR
This paper derives analytical formulas for the time-dependent cross-correlations of translational and rotational Brownian motions for particles of any shape, considering an arbitrary reference center and a diagonal diffusion tensor.
Contribution
It provides the first analytical expressions for cross-correlations of Brownian displacements for arbitrarily shaped particles with a specified reference frame.
Findings
Derived explicit formulas for cross-correlations of translational and rotational motions.
Applicable to particles of any shape with a diagonal diffusion tensor.
Enhances understanding of Brownian dynamics for complex-shaped particles.
Abstract
The analytical expressions for the time-dependent cross-correlations of the translational and rotational Brownian displacements of a particle with arbitrary shape are derived. The reference center is arbitrary, and the reference frame is such that the rotational-rotational diffusion tensor is diagonal.
