TL;DR
This study investigates how substituting cobalt for manganese in La$_{0.7}$Sr$_{0.3}$MnO$_3$ affects its structural and magnetic properties, revealing phase purity and a complex interplay of magnetic interactions.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the magnetic behavior and phase stability of La$_{0.7}$Sr$_{0.3}$Mn$_{1-x}$Co$_x$O$_3$ across the full substitution range.
Findings
Phase purity confirmed by XRD analysis.
Interplay of FM and AFM interactions observed.
Maximum coercive field at optimal Co substitution.
Abstract
We study the structural and magnetic properties of LaSrMnCoO (). Rietveld refinement of X-ray Diffraction (XRD) pattern suggests phase purity of the polycrystalline samples with Rc space group. Interplay of Ferromagnetic (FM) and Antiferromagnetic (AFM) interaction upon Co substitution at Mn site in LaSrMnO is evident from magnetic measurements. There is an optimal cobalt substitution at which the coercive field is maximum.
