Associated production of a Higgs boson at NNLO
John M. Campbell, R. Keith Ellis, Ciaran Williams

TL;DR
This paper presents a precise NNLO calculation for Higgs boson production with a vector boson, including decays and various QCD corrections, providing a flexible Monte Carlo implementation for Run II phenomenology.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive NNLO calculation for associated Higgs production, incorporating decay channels, all relevant $ ext{O}( ext{α}_s^2)$ contributions, and a novel $N$-jettiness regularization method.
Findings
Validated the $N$-jettiness regularization in complex phase space scenarios.
Included NLO QCD corrections for $H ightarrow bar{b}$ decay.
Provided detailed predictions for key final states in Run II.
Abstract
In this paper we present a Next-to-Next-to Leading Order (NNLO) calculation of the production of a Higgs boson in association with a massive vector boson. We include the decays of the unstable Higgs and vector bosons, resulting in a fully flexible parton-level Monte Carlo implementation. We also include all contributions that occur in production for these processes: those mediated by the exchange of a single off-shell vector boson in the -channel, and those which arise from the coupling of the Higgs boson to a closed loop of fermions. We study final states of interest for Run II phenomenology, namely , and . The treatment of the decay includes QCD corrections at NLO. We use the recently developed -jettiness regularization procedure, and study its viability in the presence of a large…
