TL;DR
This paper aims to select gravitational lens candidates from the CASTLES database for observation with ALMA, to improve existing models of these systems through submillimeter data and modeling with GravLens software.
Contribution
It introduces a method for selecting promising quadruple-image gravitational lens systems for ALMA observations to enhance model accuracy.
Findings
Selected 12 promising quadruple lens systems from CASTLES.
Plan to observe these systems with ALMA for extended source detection.
Intends to improve gravitational lens models with new submillimeter data.
Abstract
Gravitational lensing is a fundamental tool for cosmology. A recent instrument which will provide more information for models of these objects is ALMA. Our goal is to select lens candidates to observe with ALMA and then model them using GravLens Software. We had selected 12 quadruple images systems from the CASTLES database, which show a high probability of observing extended sources in the submillimetric range. These new data will allow us to improve existing models.
