Zi-qiang Zhang, De-fu Hou, Yan Wu, Gang Chen

TL;DR
This paper calculates how curvature-squared corrections in the gravity dual of AdS/CFT affect the jet quenching parameter, showing that these corrections can either increase or decrease it depending on specific coefficients.
Contribution
It provides the first analysis of $R^2$ curvature corrections to the jet quenching parameter within the AdS/CFT framework, linking gravity dual modifications to observable effects.
Findings
Corrections can increase the jet quenching parameter
Corrections can decrease the jet quenching parameter
The effect depends on the coefficients of high curvature terms
Abstract
A calculation of the corrections to the jet quenching parameter from AdS/CFT correspondence is presented. These corrections are related to curvature-squared corrections in the corresponding gravity dual. It is shown that the corrections will increase or decrease the jet quenching parameter depending on the coefficients of the high curvature terms.
